We were very lucky in having a dry sunny day for the race after the downpour we had overnight and as a result we had 182 extra
Entries on the day giving us a record number of 475 Entries for this Year’s
Black Tiles Kirton Friday Five, up from last years 434. Congratulations to the
Winner, Malcolm Muir of Ilford AC, and to the Ladies Winner, Tamara Jordan of
Stowmarket Striders.
In the Alex Café Bar Fun Run we also had a record number
of entries, up from last years 116 to 162. Congratulations to the Winner Jack
Garvin and to the First Girl home, April Bryan.
Thank you to all the Runners for their continued support of
our race, the Kirton Scouts for their BBQ and Beer Tent and to all those people
who helped in various ways in the organisation of the race.
